BRIEF
Currently Emilian designs ergonomic seating, furniture and accessories for Humanscale Design Studio. His latest involvement was in the design & development of Cinto Stacking Chair which was chosen 'Product of the year' by IDA (2007) and received Good Design Award by Chicago Atheneum (2006). Prior to joining HDS, Emilian has completed an MID at Pratt Institute as Fulbright Scholar. His thesis ‘W-solo Survival Kit’ was selected finalist in the Next Generation Design Competition and received Special Mention at BraunPrize 2005. Additionally, Emilian developed (2003 through 2005) Elements, a thesis project sponsored by Nokia Finland and implemented under the name ‘Concept Lounge’.
